I didn't see an image of this 'Super Stars' trading card I have on this site so I uploaded to my own site for those who have never seen it.

A friend of mine won the entire collection of these cards from an Ebay auction months ago and when he got them he gave me all the ones of bands that I was into. I also have Death Angel, and a bunch of others that he gave me. I just stuck them in my cd jewel cases of the bands that were on each card. I forgot about them until I took Dimension Hatross cd into work today and 'there it was'!!!

thats really cool man. that must've come out just before the Nothingface era, the bands best years in my opinion.
i wonder if they have cards like that for primus, the dead milkmen, anthrax, gwar, or some of my other favorite obscure bands.

I've got a few of those too. I don't remember where I got 'em. I have Voivod, Goo Goo Dolls, and Ozzy,. The back of the cards say "Winterland Productions Rock Express" if that helps you Mezcal.
There was another set called Rockcards by Brockum and I have SRV and the Sisters Of Mercy. Then there were the individual members of some bands. I have David Gilmour, Dave Ellefson, and John Tempesta and Steve Souza (Exodus).

I thought it was interesting that it was pre-Nothingface (according to the discography on the back) and Belanger is 'spoting' a pair of 3-D specs that would play a big part in the OUTER LIMITS release years latter.

Cool, I bought 3 boxes (like the boxes you would take a pack out of at the local porn shop, oops, I mean newstand) all new.(for a buck a box !!) So the fun around here was to get really drunk and open packs to find the Voivod card. Ill have to rip a few more open to find the death angel one!

a deli in Columbus has the entire set of those cards shellacked (sp?) to the walls, among others. I think they have old-school wrestling cards up there too. It's cool to see Voivod, King Kong Bundy and Wilson Phillips back together where they belong.
