I can't believe I had Blacky's haircut for eleven years. Well, young people should have stupid hair but maybe not when you're nearing 30. I might go for that nice bob Blacky sports these days. At the moment it kind of looks like Kelso from 'That 70's Show'. Jesus why won't it grow quicker?! Why the fuck did I shave it all off?!??

er...as a matter of fact it did, in 1992 anyway. 1990, it was just me, 1993, every bugger and his dog had it.
1999 and it was just me again.
I'm growing it again now, since I've never actually seen what long hair on the sides of my head looks like. It's just this terrible Kelso stage to deal with in the interim. Not sure I'd have shaved sides again because in certain pictures of me with it tied back it looks like I have a mullet, and this cannot be allowed to happen.

That's Anacrusis on that picture... a pretty early pic, tho Ken Nardi (right) kept the semi-blacky hairstyle til the band's demise in '93.

Oh? Well if they got back together, i wasnt aware! All i knew is that they broke up on new years eve 93/94 after the bass player refused to play the show and as a result they lost their deal with Metal Blade.

KKS, where'd you hear that Anacrusis are getting back together? That would be cool if they did but in a recent Snakepit Magazine (issue #8) interview, Ken Nardi said "I don't see a reunion tour looming on the horizon any time soon."

Here in Italy i was one of the first (maybe the first) to made a haircutting like Blacky, in 1990 i had long hair and just before to go to the army in middle 1991 i had made this haircutting (just before to do the militar cutting) for seeing how it look. When i finished the army i started to let grow my hair again and when they were long i finally made that blacky style; but unfortunately in Italy in that time (late 94 i think)it becomes a quite popoular haircutting style... I have a videotape while i made the 1991 haircutting, ops out of main argument...
