Hey, have any of you Brits seen the movie Gangster No.1 yet? Just wondering. I thought it was one of the most brilliant things to come out in the last year or so. A bit on the violent side. And you need a translator for about 80% of the dialouge. Talk about thick accents.

How did you find the second half of the film w/ Malcolm mcddowell? The depiction of him as a young man is stunning, but then starts to lose it's way a little. A "bit" on the violent side? Axe dismemberment anyone? ha ha

Haven't seen that one myself. I'm a bit tired of the British Gangster Flick at the moment. There seems to be a new one every week. 'Lock Stock' was an entertaining watch though. If I see a copy I'll check it out.

H, if you're tired of the whole "mr madonna"/ mockney geezer type crap, then this is for you. Though I would say that the whole thing hangs of of Paul Bettany, who's amazing.

Sounds good... I'll see if the local rental shop has a copy. Cheers.

I felt the entire thing was great. I thought the last part was a pretty brilliant resolution of the guy's obsession with " ", can't remember his ex-boss's name.
People go out and rent this damn movie!! Good stuff. Like Jethro said, definitely not Mr.Madonna/mockney geezer shit. Yeah, definitely not mockney(?)!
