I only really know anything about 'real' football. You know, the one where you actually play with your feet?

I'm with Noitall on this one. I could give a shit about the guys running back and forth on the field.

I third that opinion! If, for any reason I am actually watching TV this Sunday... it will most likely be the Science Channel's special on sand. Besides, the only persion I know who dislikes football more than me is my wife!

You homo! etc...
Actually that's a real good reason for watching NFL! I'm a hockey fan too, but much to my surprise I really enjoyed watching American football after I learned about the rules and tactics. There's so many different attack & defense tactics that make the game interesting. The crushing tackles are good fun too! Too bad they don't show NFL here too often, but at least we're getting the Super Bowl.

Football is 100% AMERICAN. And that is the way we like it. Football is not to be confused with the GAY sport you play with your feet that we call Soccer. Ten year old boys play Soccer in the USA, men play Football in the USA.

Väinämöinen, so what if I like watching girls better than those big fat American football players? And even if I was bi - I'm not - I don't think I'd hear many complaints, lol ! (Football/soccer players, now those are guys worth watching) Anyway, I still think the half-time show is the most interesting part of the Superbowl. But I like watching ballet and figure skating too.

Football? Sucks Horsearse, Soccer sucks two. If they played it with mixed teams i would have started playing yesterday, focusing on one thing: the showers...
I actually went training Soccer "once" when i was ten, got offside all the time and bought myself an Alva skateboard instead

Hey FantasticPlanet, did you ever watch a CANADIAN football game ? It is very interesting football to! Lot of points, turnovers, and fake plays almost every game ! The rules are alike and very different at the same time. You should check a game next summer, you can be very surprised !

Like watching armored rat fights. The only game even more stupid is blazeball (or how the fuck it's called?)

Hey Vroomfondel I had an Alva deck too for awhile. I used to think Tony Alva was the cat's ass, so to speak. (The nostalgia factor was high for me watching the Dogtown and Z-Boys movie)

Hell yeah, But Tony was the man for me (so to speak). I watched the Mighty Dogtown movie a few weeks ago too, it moved me more than Lassie

I think the L.A. Raiders will win. Who are the Buccaneers? Didn't they go a whole season winless before? Oh wait a minute, it's the L.A. Rams in the superbowl, they are going to win. I get them confused. They were there a few years back I recall... OK seriously though the Raiders are going to win, regardless of what city they are in. They could be the Tampa Bay Raiders for all I care, and Jon Gruden could still be the coach. SILVER & BLACK

I remember when they were the "Minnesota NORTH Stars", back when they mattered. Hey, I lived in North Dakota once, I know what I'm talking about!

I'm not a BIG sports fan but I do (did) enjoy watching the big game last night and I was glad Tampa whooped ass on the Raiders. It's funny to watch the crazy fans who put on Raiders war paint and skull masks and then see their expressions during the middle of the game when their warriors are have the shit kicked out them by the Bucs.
Anyway the best reason tha watch the Superbowl is for the new commercials...and there were a lot of good ones.

Football (and I mean FOOTBALL) is the greatest game in the world. Proven by teams across the globe. That american version is just bastardised rugby for guurls. Anyone for tennis?

Okay, I admit to watching the stuporbowl. And I was indeed in a flu induced stupor which meant I kept falling asleep. I did see the whole pitiful half time show though. Thankfully I missed Celine doing the US National Anthem. Ugh.
