The Magnified album by the band Failure is one of my favorite albums of all time. It's one of those strange cases where none of their other material before or after this album does anything for me.
Any of youz heard this one? If not, go seek it out. It has one of the best bass sounds you'll hear this side of Mr. Theriault. No lie! (mp3 seekers should look for the songs 'Empty Friend', 'Let it Drip' or 'Moth'. Brilliant stuff!

I took my own advice and looked on BearShare for some Failure mp3s. Couldn't find shit! However, I did find an mp3 of a demo version of 'Let it Drip' that, while rougher around the edges than the album version, is still a great song. Here's that mp3 for anyone who's interested...

I've had that record for years. it's great. Get this, I saw failure with Tool and Truly about 10 years ago. Fucking awsome!!!!!!!!!

FP - count yourself as fortunate to have seen them live before they fell out with each other. The last album they released (ironically enough, called Fantastic Planet - who knew? ) had a few great songs on it, but it didn't do the same thing for me that Magnified did. Oh well.
