I doubt too many people here are interested but hey, what the hell. I guess Robert Trujillo is the new Metallica bassist. Go here.
Personally I think it's a pretty weird fit for such chugga-chugga metalheads. Looks like they let Trujillo play fingerstyle too, judging by the pics. Strange...

I guess since being in Ozzy Robert Trujillo doesn't mind taking orders and just doing what's needed. I miss the days of Suicidal and Infectious...thet's when he was at his best. I'm sure the pay is great, for his new job. Still, I think he's too cool for Jamez and the boyz.

This was obviously a monetary decision. Good for the Met guys. Bad thing is we'll have to wait another 65 years for a new album to see what his real position in Metallica is (i.e., will he actually have some input on the songs? I, innocently, hope so).
