I'm impressed once again. I'm beginning to suspect the persons responsible for the top-40 are a bunch of crazy metalheads "re-adjusting" the charts a little each week in favour of cool bands so they get more exposure !
I was joking before when I said I'm expecting to see Voivod on the charts, but after seeing this I wouldn't be too sceptical about that anymore. Cool!

Hehe, I guess KC won't be too much on the air either despite its success. Commercial music is meant for those who don't give a shit about music anyway, so KC on air would be pearls before swine from a music lover's point of view. Shit, I sound like I'm some fucking elitist or sth. Duh!

Just got the new KC this morning. Fucking excellent. I'm well happy with that. Also popped into 2 of my local record stores and asked if they were gonna have the new Vod album. After explaining how to spell it 30 times I got told that they won't be getting it in as it's a specialised release and I should try one of thier bigger branches. Fuckers. It was in a shitty little suburb of London though. I'm sure they'll have it in the centre of town.

KC on ANY chart is bizarre. And exciting. I only wish the upcoming tour was coming near me! The current lineup is beyond amazing. Trey Gunn is especially monstrous.

Actually, even weirder is the fact that Rolling Stone gave this old, unhip prog-relic (at least I figured that'd be their perspective) a great review for their new album. What the?
On another note, could I by any chance redirect some of of the death-metal inclined to this thread. Thanks!

I live south of the river. Where do you shop? I know of "that shop in Croydon" - it's purple and a vinyl haven. Also Music Exchange in Kensington, or thereabouts. What am I missing out on?
