Well, the deal is done. I take possession of my new place on June 15th. Just signed the last of the papers today. I'm so happy! I'm gonna build a little project studio in one of the spare bedrooms. Here's my new place:
It looks pink in the pic, but it's actually white. Here's where I live now, and I can't fucking wait to get out:

CONGRATS...I love owning a home: Fixing leaks running electric busting down walls tearing up carpet yanking out old fixture wondering why lights go on and off by themselves replacing windows putting in central air system

Holy shit schroeder, that's ALOT of work on that bathroom! That's why we're moving - so I don't have to do it! Not for many years anyway. My wife was joking that once there's some work to do on the new house we should just sell the place.

I do get a lot of satisafaction from doing all the work myself. I grew up watching my step father build everything and take care of everything that went wrong, and hell, if I paid someone else to do it I couldn't afford all the cds I need.
I finished running electric and framing in the 60" x 60" corner tub over the last couple days. Next will be dry wall and concrete backer flooring for the ceramic mazaic tiles we'll be putting down. It'll all be worth it when I can get in the tub with mt wife and crank up the jet!!!
