Hell, YEAH! Tex Avery ruled. Some of the wackiest cartoons ever. Bad Luck Blackie is the one where that bulldog abuses the hell out of the little white kitten, all the while laughing like a loon (Moo hoo hoo). It's great!

And so the iron gang tex avery appreciation society began.... Man, I can't believe how hard it is to get hold of these cartoons. I fucking love them. I have Screwball Classics volume 1 & 2, but not 3 & 4, which were only released in the US or on laserdisc. Fucking laserdisc. Didn't realise those things took off! Surely a dvd is on the way. "Dog trouble, kid? Here's my card...."

There is a regular "Tex Avery Show" at Cartoon Network here. Needless to say, it's the best show on the channel.
