Targento, "the damned" is indeed the plasmatics tune and it's on the Mad Butcher EP... and here it is:Destruction - The Damned (Plasmatics) Now, the best covers that comes to mind for me...without citing the obvious ones, like the Voivod ones. I dont like covers as much as i used to since they're so common now, but here are a few that actually enhance the original song, or are just that good. Wrathchild America - Time (Pink Floyd, on "Climbing The Walls") Helloween - He's a Woman / She's a Man (Scorpions... on "Metal Jukebox") Overkill - Changes (Black Sabbath... on "Coverkill") No Use For a Name - Redemption Song (Bob Marley... on "Leche Con Carne") Anthrax - The Cowboy Song (Thin Lizzy... on some EP i cant remember which) Emperor - A Fine Day To Die (Bathory... on the Century Media reissue of "In The Nightside Eclipse", and previously on "In Conspiracy With Satan", a Bathory tribute album) Johnny Cash - Hurt (NIN.. very moving, i think) Exhorder - Into The Void (Black Sabbath... on "The Law"... also on some bullshit compilation called Masters of Misery or something like that) That's about it. Oh yah, Eddy... Holiday in Cambodia covered by Voivod was on a few Iron Gang live tapes back in the 80's (they closed the set with it on the Dimension Hatross tour), but i dont think there's proper studio-recorded version of it...

OMFG!! We have a WINNER!! "In the ...JINGLE ...JANGLE morning.." (possibly matched only by his rousing rendition of 'Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds' ) I may have to post this one for all who have not lived through it...

Dude, Thanks! Pretty killer version, but Wendy O.'s intensity will never be matched. Anyone remember the insane 'exploding school bus' video for this?

Yonderboi - Riders on the storm/Pink solidism (from Doors) Laibach - God is god There is an Alternative Tentacle album with DK covers, a lot of them are brilliant, unfortunately i lost my copy...

Do i need to remind everyone about this 1970's Covers Album? HANGNAIL - Bron-yr-stomp (Led Zepplin) Our very own Harry (H) former band did that really cool cover. There are also some other gems on that 2-CD set. Here is the Website for the CD. Check out the other Tracks: SUCKING THE 70's
