My info is vague but does anyone know the name of the book about the 2 death metal bands where one of the singers was murdered by the other? I believe the name of one of the bands was Burzum but I am not sure. I saw a little piece on VH1 years ago when they mentioned the book and the whole story.

The other band is Mayhem.

Varg Vikernes, the man behind Burzum, and bass player for Mayhem, murdered his Mayhem bandmate Euronymous, supposedly because he was 'more evil'.

Drummer Hellhammer made a necklace from the skull fragments of lead vocalist Dead, who shot himself in the head, as well.

Seriously fucked up people. Not much point in a book, that's all you really need to know. As well as the fact that Vikernes is a fucking neo-Fascist racist scumfuck.

Who happens to be a member of that National Socialist Black Metal (NSBM) crap, so expect to have a MAJOR focus on Vikernes and his "Judeo-Christian extermination saga", or something.

I think they even made some documentary about that as well (including all the church-burnings in Norway).
