I'm shocked. Great choice. I have worshipped this riff from day one. Toxic Trace is pretty fucking lethal, too. I really wish they would remaster/ remix that album.
On a related note, I spent the final 2 hours of my day today listening to the SAME riff and chorus ...over and over and over x1000. Easily one of the greatest and truly monumental riffs in the history of rock music: ::drum roll, please:: Blue Öyster Cult - E.T.I. Just an AMAZING fucking song that is. And the chorus... You obviously glossed over the part where I said "on a related note". Thrash riffs, you say? First, I would add one of the ones that started it all for me: Destruction - Bestial Invasion, many more including those already listed
Strapping Young Lad - just about everything from City, tons of other DT riffage
Napalm Death - where the hell do I start? OK, I'll go with that BRUTAL monstrosity

The Accused - Psychomania, the middle riff breaks of Pounding Nails
