Since Voivod will be all over the place in 2009 and we hopefully will find vast amounts of songs/vids and photos out there, i think it's a good idea to collect them in one thread

Gonna try to collect the stuff under their respective Show/Festival here in the first post.

I can't believe how good the sound is on that Tornado clip!! How did that happen? The majority of the time the mic gets buried with distortion..................

FUCK!!! The TORNADO clip IS devastating!!!!

Some of you might think this is blasphemy, but I'd love to hear Snake redo his vocal on War & Pain, and RRROOOAAARRR, and re-release the albums. He just sounds so much better than he did back then. The video clips proves that... at least to my ears.

I think it's only us old schoolers that grew up on thrash in the 80s and 90s that really know how to headbang and get into the music. There's been numerous occasions in recent years that I've been to shows where the band is fucking tearing it up and I'm one of a handful of people who's body is feeling it!!! This younger crowd takes too many meds to sedate them... why fuckin go to a show if you aren't going to get into the music?

At the Testament show a few weeks ago the idiot in front of me spent the entire night taking pictures with his phone of the band from a screen set up on the right side of the club. Stay at home and watch a dvd if that's your idea of how to act at a thrash concert.

I'd like to see them re-record roar and KT, like testament and exodus did so well (not like anthrax, where it came out dumb). problem is, the guitar will never be right.

As you can see and hear it, it was awesome. I mean, AWESOME. Footnote: it was a co-headlining show with Down. The last song of the night was Bury Me in Smoke and it ended with all the guys from both bands jamming together. I'm still recovering.

Wow, there is nothing funnier than watching interviews with German metal fans. Now those were some characters! Did you see the guy with the white/black rubber cowboy hat and sex pistols shirt who looked like he was sixty (but was probably more like 42)???? I would love to have this transcribed in English. Unsuprisingly they were answering these stupid questions while the best band in the world was performing.
