On monday i'll be 38 years old. I know Voivod for more then half of my life.

There is no way i can imagine that there will come a band that i like so much as this band. Voivod holds me into a grip when i listen to them.

Today i had a terrible day because of the los of piggy. I cried, was angry, why the hell is he taken from us. With so much left to do. Piggy had a lot of unfinnished things to do.

When i read al the comments everywhere i realise again i am a fan of a very special band. I will forever be a fan of Voivod.
Listening to Nothingface right now. I didn't do that for a long time.

Tonight i was at a footbalmatch with 20.000 other people, i couldn't get my mind of piggy, was wondering how many people here knew what had happened las days. My guess was none but one. Me. My team lost 5-0 but it left me kind of cold. My thoughts are everytime going one direction.
i am glad i have all these albums to play. over and over and over again. No band can come near to Voivod.

This may seem a lot of nonsence but it expresses my feelings at this moment.

I will be thinking of Piggy a lot coming days and will light a candle in my thoughts.

Let's do that. I am no able to drive though. Had to many already. But i am in some kind of state. Little drunk, Voivod music on my head. lady is watching fucking television. She leaves me alone in this one. I love her. She has read all of the shit on internet about Piggy and understands why he was so special. She really does.

I cried too, Paul. It was the first time in my life that I had cried because of the death of someone, who wasn't family or a personal friend. I can't believe he's gone.

Glad you mentioned that. thought i was the only one. Crying over someone i saw only 6 times in my life. I cried for about one hour. My 7 year old son stood beside me and did not know what the hell was going on. I said that a good friend of mine passed away and that he played in Voivod. He kissed me and said that it is going to be ok. I believe Mille. I don't know if i going to go to sleep this night. Better do that. Some people are going to be very sorry if i do not take my sleep tonight. Whatever. Killing Thechnology is burning my mind at the moment. Neagatron is next.

That is what we thought of it. As a metal fan the namesearch was easy. Just open Aardschok magazine for names. Look under Kreator (fan of this band ofcourse) and voila.

(Blabbermouth) KREATOR leader Mille Petrozza has issued the following statement regarding the passing of VOIVOD guitarist Denis "Piggy" D'Amour:

"VOIVOD has always been one of the most important bands in the genre for us, not only because we have become friends since our first tour in 1987, but also on a musical level! Piggy taught me those strange 'VOIVOD chords' back in the day, wich since then apeared in many of our songs! It's very hard, to find words when someone like Piggy, who was the friendliest and coolest musician on earth, passes away. We will miss you! R.I.P."
